Sonar Search & Survey Specialist – Level 3 prepares experienced sonar operators for complex search missions and technical coordination roles.
The course emphasizes advanced target analysis, multi-area search planning, probability-based search strategy, data management, mission documentation, multi-sensor integration, and coordination with ROV and diver teams.
Students learn to evaluate search effectiveness, prioritize potential targets, adapt search plans to changing information, and manage technical data throughout an extended underwater search operation.
