Course description
ROV Specialist – Level 2 develops advanced underwater vehicle operation skills for complex search and technical response missions.
Training includes low-visibility piloting, advanced tether management, current effects, structured search patterns, sonar-assisted navigation, target confirmation, technical video documentation, and operations around underwater hazards.
Students also learn to integrate ROV operations with sonar teams, divers, and surface command personnel.
The course is intended for experienced operators supporting professional underwater search, recovery, inspection, and emergency-response missions.
