ROV Specialist – Level 1 introduces the safe and effective operation of remotely operated underwater vehicles used for search, inspection, and rescue support.
Students learn system components, pre-deployment inspection, control systems, propulsion, cameras, lighting, tether management, launch and recovery, basic piloting, depth and orientation control, and target approach.
The course emphasizes safe equipment operation, situational awareness, effective video observation, and standardized mission procedures.
