Course description
Inflatable Rescue Boat Technician – Level 2 develops advanced boat-handling skills for rescue operations in more demanding aquatic environments.
Training includes maneuvering in moving water, shallow and restricted areas, advanced casualty recovery, search patterns, towing, man-overboard procedures, engine failure response, multi-boat coordination, and operational decision-making.
Students learn to manage the combined risks of current, vessel movement, limited access, obstacles, changing environmental conditions, and casualty handling.
The course is intended for experienced rescue boat operators who may be required to conduct technical water rescue and search missions.
