Inflatable Rescue Boat Technician – Level 1 introduces responders to the safe preparation and operation of inflatable rescue boats used in aquatic emergency response.
Students learn vessel inspection, equipment preparation, engine checks, launching and recovery, basic maneuvering, crew responsibilities, casualty approach, water recovery, and emergency procedures.
The course emphasizes safe boat handling, communication between crew members, situational awareness, and the correct use of rescue craft as part of a coordinated aquatic rescue operation.
